SUMMER AT 7TH STREET IS BACK! Join JDCC Parks & Recreation for a FREE community summer event packed with activities, giveaways, learning opportunities, sports, crafts, and fun for the whole family!
7th Street Park – Pavilion by the Pond

DIY activities including paint-your-own door mats, faux stained glass vases, and more (limited supplies)
FREE books, STEM items, and educational resources
Free seeds, garden and house plants, gardening info, and take-home materials
Outdoor games, sports activities, scavenger hunts, and prizes
Play-ready sports & recreation items to take home (limited quantity)
“Get Her in the Game” Girls Jamboree information and sign-ups
Girls Play Ready Kit sign-ups and equipment needs feedback gathering
Eastern Oregon Care Boxes information, household interest surveys, donation opportunities, volunteer sign-ups, and early registration opportunities for families interested in receiving future support boxes as the program expands in phases
FREE food, drinks, music, and family fun!Sign up information for Eastern Oregon Care Boxes will be available at this event. EOCB are designed to help support rural families, seniors, and vulnerable households through food support, wellness items, educational materials, household essentials, gardening resources, recreation items, and community connection opportunities. These resources are also intended for ALICE households and include our vulnerable populations that might not qualify for state assistance but meet the threshold for unmet needs. We didn’t forget about you! 
This event is designed to help connect families with recreation, wellness, educational resources, and community support in a fun and welcoming environment.
Everything is FREE and open to all families. Donations are appreciated but never required.
We can’t wait to kick off summer with you at 7th Street!
