The John Day/Canyon City Parks and Recreation District in John Day, Oregon, offers a variety of recreational facilities and programs for all ages. The 7th Street Complex, a 23-acre multi-use facility, features a fishing pond, a mile-long paved walking/running trail with six fitness stations, two playgrounds, a skatepark, a splash pad, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, and is centrally located next to the John Day Bike Park with two miles of single-track bike trails.
