The 7^th Street Complex is a shared property between the John Day Canyon City Parks and Recreation District and Grant School District. This remarkable complex is a heaven for outdoor recreation, having a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy!

The 7^th Street Complex is a 23-acre multi-use facility that includes an array of activities for all kinds of recreators.

There is a small fishing pond that gets stocked yearly for the anglers, a mile-long paved walking/running trail that includes 6 workstations along the path for the fitness buffs, and 5 acres of open green space to just enjoy. The complex has plenty to offer kids, including two playgrounds, a skatepark and even a splash pad. There are tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball courts, and baseball and softball fields for players of all ages. Just above our baseball and softball fields, you’ll find the John Day Bike Park which includes 2 miles of single track bike trails and a dirt pump track.

There are 2 picnic shelters located on the complex, one at each end as well as restrooms and shower facilities.

It’s safe to say there’s rarely a dull moment at The 7^th Street Complex! The complex is a Tobacco, Drug and Alcohol Free Zone that provides our community with a safe and friendly environment for the entire family to enjoy, including your dogs (just make sure you clean up after them so your dog continues to be wecomed).

Cornhole Boards $65 and up

Late Fee: $15/day. If Cornhole Equipment is not returned within (1 day) of the due date, we retain the right to not return the security deposit and charge the renter a late fee in accordance with the fees listed above. Renters will be required to sign a Use Agreement Form holding them responsible for any damage that is caused in the duration of the event. The agreement also outlines the responsibilities of the renter. Fees: $15 per day rental fee + $50 per set fee (applies for 1-3 sets of boards; the fee increases to $75 per day for more than 3 sets.) Bulk deals may be made at the district’s discretion if renters are interested in using multiple sets, renting for extended periods of time, or if the renter is a business entity.

Fees: Payment must be submitted to JDCC Parks and Rec before the date of request.

NSF Checks: All NSF (non-sufficient funds) checks are subject to a $35 fee.

I will assume full responsibility for the conduct of my group while using the facility rented and will pay for any damages they cause. I am aware All 7th Street Park areas are nonsmoking and Alcohol-free. Please mail your check to:
