Every February, the John Day–Canyon City Parks & Recreation District hosts two of our most-loved family events: Daddy Daughter Dance and Mother Son Night. These evenings are all about creating sweet memories, sharing a little laughter, and giving families a fun, safe place to celebrate connection during the winter season.

Daddy Daughter Dance:
A special night for dads/father figures and daughters to dress up, dance, enjoy activities, and make memories together.

Mother Son Night: A fun evening for moms/mother figures and sons to enjoy music, activities, and quality time together.

Need a Sponsorship? We want every family to be able to participate. A limited number of sponsorships are available for families who would like to attend but may be tight on cash.
