Spanning 23 acres, this vibrant community space is a true haven for outdoor recreation—where families gather, kids play, and neighbors connect. About 7th Street

The 7^th Street Complex is a 23-acre multi-use facility that includes an array of activities for all kinds of recreators.

There is a small fishing pond that gets stocked yearly for the anglers, a mile-long paved walking/running trail that includes 6 workstations along the path for the fitness buffs, and 5 acres of open green space to just enjoy. The complex has plenty to offer kids, including two playgrounds, a skatepark and even a splash pad. There are tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball courts, and baseball and softball fields for players of all ages. Just above our baseball and softball fields, you’ll find the John Day Bike Park which includes 2 miles of single track bike trails and a dirt pump track.

There are 2 picnic shelters located on the complex, one at each end as well as restrooms and shower facilities.

Explore the fully stocked fishing pond, enjoy a mile-long paved walking and running trail, or challenge yourself at one of six fitness stations along the route. Prefer open space? There are five acres of lush green areas perfect for picnics, relaxation, or spontaneous play.

Kids and teens have endless options with two playgrounds, a skatepark, and a refreshing splash pad. Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, and baseball and softball fields designed for players of all ages. And just above our ballfields sits the John Day Bike Park, featuring two miles of single-track trails and a dirt pump track for riders seeking a bit more thrill.

Conveniently located at both ends of the Complex are two covered picnic shelters, along with clean restroom facilities to keep you comfortable during your visit.

Park Reservation Application

Our Facility and it's spaces are free to use but if you would like to reserve the space for a private function, that is where the reservation comes into play.

7th Street Picnic Area (Pond or Skate Park/Splash Pad) $115

$115 deposit / up to $55 refund after clean up and no damage. This is for a 2 hour block / 4 hour block is $175 with up to $55 refunded
Organized Event (Using Over 50% of the Park. Example: 5K Run) $250

$250 Fee + cleaning deposit
Mosier Field $80 - $1500

$80 per day / $1500 for the season
Little League II $80 - $1500

$80 per day / $1500 for the season
Softball I (next to pond) $75 - $750

$75 per day / $750 for the season
Belshaw Fields $75 - $750

$75 per day / $750 for the season
Tennis Courts $75 - $300

Free to use but if you would like to reserve the space for a private function, that is where the reservation comes into play.

1. CHECK THE CALENDAR TO MAKE SURE YOUR DATE AND TIME IS AVAILABLE (BELOW)

3. STAFF WILL REVIEW YOUR DOCUMENTS WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS AND WILL REACH OUT TO CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION AND ARRANGE PAYMENT.

4. PAYMENT MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF APPROVING YOUR RESERVATION. FAILURE TO PAY WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF YOUR RESERVATION DATE AND TIME.

5. PAYMENT CAN BE MADE VIA ONLINE INVOICE, OR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD.

NSF Checks: All NSF (non-sufficient funds) checks are subject to a $65 fee. ALL electronic payments are subject to a 2% – 5% processing fee.
