THEME: Groovy 70’s / 80’s

Parents, grandparents, etc., grab your kids and bring them to a night full of fun! Enjoy an action-packed night with dancing, games,
music, food, and pictures!

Pictures: Tanni Wenger Photography will begin taking pictures at 6:00 pm.; one 5×7 is included in the ticket cost. Picture packages are available directly through the photographer.

Location: Canyon City Community Hall
Event Cost: $30.00 a couple (additional $5.00 per kiddo)

This program is open to all 4th–6th graders and runs from January 5 through February 5

Practices and games will be held Monday–Thursday. A full schedule will be shared with parents once registration closes. All teams are co-ed.

Program Fees:

$50 for In-District participants (John Day & Canyon City)
$65 for Out-of-District participants (all other areas of Grant County)
Fees increase after 4 weeks.

If you’re interested in coaching, please select the “Sign-Up w/ Parent as Coach” option during registration. Coaching will waive your child’s program fee, and our Programs Manager will reach out with more information once you’ve signed up.

Each year, the John Day Canyon City Parks and Recreation cordially invites all young ladies, grades K-6th, with their fathers or favorite male father figure (uncle, brother, etc.) to attend our Father-Daughter Dance.
Enjoy a memorable night filled with dancing and some fun events with the option to win prizes, a professional photo keepsake, and memories to last a lifetime! One 5×7 is included in the ticket cost. Picture packages are available directly through the photography studio.
